solid-liquid separation

In recent years, awareness of the importance of solid-liquid separation,
recognizing that it is closely related to the efficient use of resources and energy and environmental problems,
and thus made extensive research on theory and technology, and achieved gratifying results.
The insoluble solid-liquid separation is the discrete mechanical method for separating solids from liquids,
including filtration and gravity sedimentation,flotation as well as in centrifuges and hydrocyclone separation method by means of centrifugal force.
These methods significantly different distillation,crystallization, adsorption and diffusion unit operations.
Those materials are solution of unit operations, rather than solid-liquid mixture.
Application of solid-liquid separation technology are widely used in the field,from environmental control,
chemical and food production, and purification of knives to protect aircraft from the water-sensitive hydraulic circuits,
mass fraction of solid particles in a liquid is greater than the 50% to less than a few percent can use separation techniques.
With the rapid development of industry and diversification, there is plenty ofsolid-liquid separation problems need to be solved,
which is to promote the development of the solid-liquid separation machinery and ancillary equipment.

This benign mutual promotion effect of solid advances in the theory and practice are useful.

Filter bag replacement methods and notes

Bag filter operation
1. slowly open the bag filter inlet valve to about 1/4 (open too quickly would have a high impact loads may damage the filter bag).
2. at this stage, we should open the bag type filter exhaust valve to ensure that there is no air left in the upper part of the bag-type filter,
close the exhaust valve after air exhaust to prevent liquid spills. Under no circumstances must take care to prevent spillage of liquid.
3. export can now be opened slowly to normal flow control valve, inlet valve is then slowly twist to open.
Filter bag replacement program filter pressure drop (pressure difference between the table and the inlet pressure gauge reading)
should not exceed 25 psi,excessive pressure may cause rupture of the filter bag, so regularly check,determines whether the filter bag needs to be replaced.
Pressure drop 30psi recommends replacing the filter bag, limit pressure drop allowed for 40psi.
When the filter bag needs to be replaced, please operate according to thefollowing steps:
1. turn the fluid inlet valve.
2. close the outlet valve.
3. open exhaust valve until the pressure gauge shows the internal pressure is 0.
(Exhaust pipe should point to a safe place).
4. open the relief valve discharge residual liquid inside of the bag filter.
If certain items of higher viscosity, material gravity alone could not achieve thedesired effect,
will be connected to the compressed air and the exhaust valves will be leftover exhaust.
Operation after the closure of the gas source.
5. close drain valve.
6. open the upper cover
7. remove the replacement filter bags
8. install a new filter bag.
9. check that the o-ring is properly installed or needs to be cleaned,
gap seal groove also needs to be kept clean.
10. close the upper cover, and evenly tighten the lid on the fastening bolts to prevent cover and shell leaks.
Notes:
1. determine the bag type filter is securely fixed on the platform.
2. replace the bag filter accessories, ensure the bag-type filter is internal pressure to zero before operation.
3. exhaust vent hose toward a safe place.
4. in accordance with the operations manual of the open cover, or o-rings may be leaking or spilled liquid under pressure.
5. bags filter recommended cleaning after each use, to ensure that the next time the filter effect is good.
6. the velocity of the fluid is an important element of control filter.Recommended fluid flow rates and slower the better,
low-flow filter effects can be enhanced, and extend the life of the filter bag and the bag filter, thus reducing the operating cost of the whole system.
